Privacy
Last updated August 2026
PassMyResume is built to be private by default. Your resume contains personal information, and we treat it that way.
What we process
When you run a scan, the resume text and job description you provide are sent to our server to generate your report. We use them only to produce that report and return it to you.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not use your resume or job descriptions to train machine learning models. We do not persist your resume text to a database as part of a normal scan.
AI features
If you use the optional AI features (bullet rewrites, cover letters), the relevant text is sent to our AI provider solely to generate that output. Those requests are configured for zero data retention where the provider supports it.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. We keep a minimal record of your purchase so we can grant you access to paid features.
Analytics
We may collect privacy-respecting, aggregate usage metrics (like page views and scan counts) to improve the product. These are not tied to your resume content.
